WORKSHOP INFO

During this workshop, The Funktion Chorus Line will focus on Fosse-themed acts for their sping showcase. The acts will be interactive performances, staged both onstage and throughout the audience at Hail Mary Bar (582 College - 2nd floor)

Performers can choose to participate in up to 3 group acts.
Rehearsals will take place weekly for 1.25hrs, with each act developed over the course of 7 choreography classes.

Classes are offered in 3 levels:
Beginner - Open to those who are new to burlesque performance and/or dance-based burlesque classes.
Open Level - Open to performers of all experience levels. Instructors will tailor choreography to accommodate varying skill levels within the class.
Intermediate - For performers who are well-versed in choreography classes and performance, with 2+ years of performance experience.

In addition to the 7 weeks of choreography classes, all performers will participate in a full-cast dress rehearsal on June 6 from 5:00–8:00 PM at the venue.

The final showcase will take place over two nights:

Saturday June 20
8pm Shows

Main costume pieces are included with registration. Performers may be required to provide additional items such as fishnets, a basic black bra, and dance shoes.
